Join our growing logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is vital to our operation, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify item information (SKU, quantity) against order details.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, especially those related to safety and the use of PPE.
Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Ability to read and understand order instructions and product labels. Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. A strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
