This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to a safe working environment. You will be expected to perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition. Occasional heavy lifting may be required as part of your duties. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and other vehicles.
- Transport inventory to and from production, storage, and other designated areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment, reporting any issues immediately.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and record-keeping as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift operation experience required.
- Valid forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent physical condition and stamina.
