About
We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this essential role, you will support our Logistics operations by ensuring materials are moved, organized, and staged correctly within the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to handle a wide range of materials. We prioritize a culture of Safety and efficiency, and we are looking for individuals who share that commitment. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stage materials for production or shipment according to schedules.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure safe operation and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines meticulously.
- Wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Support production and shipping departments by delivering necessary materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational goals.
This role requires regular Lifting of materials up to 60 pounds and may involve repetitive motions. Previous experience as a Material Handler or forklift operator is highly desirable for this Logistics position.
