Are you a skilled technician with experience in warehouse operations? We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our facility in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is critical for maintaining the optimal functioning of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all staff. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated storage systems. Your expertise will help minimize downtime and maximize productivity. A strong understanding of **logistics** and operational workflows is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, sorters, balers).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with warehouse machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and service calls within the facility.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements during maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
- Be comfortable with **Lifting** and maneuvering parts weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Collaborate with operations teams to understand equipment needs and optimize performance.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations and **safety** protocols.
