About
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and preparing them for shipment. This involves careful handling of products, ensuring no damage occurs during the picking process. Once picked, you will be responsible for packing the items securely into appropriate shipping containers, using a variety of packing materials to protect goods during transit. Attention to detail is crucial to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes or other shipping containers, ensuring product safety.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or other basic material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation when required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to understand order details.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all procedures.
