We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include managing staff schedules, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing operational improvements. You will also be responsible for ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a keen eye for detail are essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Manage the scheduling and dispatch of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed and ensure its proper maintenance.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the correct use of PPE by all warehouse personnel.
- Facilitate effective communication between management and warehouse staff.
- Manage space utilization within the warehouse effectively.
- Assist with training new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Perform regular checks to ensure the safety of the work environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
