We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of products. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will directly contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures is essential.
