Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Durham, North Carolina. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Properly document all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipping and receiving status.
  • Manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping labels.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
