Are you an experienced logistics professional looking for a challenging opportunity? We are hiring a Warehouse Coordinator in Dallas, Texas, to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and Logistics. You will be responsible for coordinating activities, managing staff, optimizing inventory, and ensuring that all warehouse functions are performed efficiently and safely. Adherence to all Safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is critical. This role will involve regular oversight of tasks that require moderate to heavy Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and enforce the use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse personnel.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules to meet Logistics demands.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
- Ensure safe handling practices are followed, especially concerning Lifting of goods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Proven ability to manage a team and drive performance.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Excellent understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety in the workplace.
- Experience with material handling equipment and associated Safety protocols.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to perform Lifting tasks as needed, understanding weight limits and safe practices.
- Must be capable of wearing and utilizing appropriate PPE.
