We are hiring a Material Handler for our Washington, D.C. facility. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our warehouse, managing the movement and organization of materials and products. You'll be responsible for ensuring that materials are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately throughout the supply chain. The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong commitment to **safety**. - Receiving, identifying, and stocking incoming materials.
- Transporting materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Verifying the quantity and quality of materials against documentation.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in designated storage areas.
- Preparing materials for shipment, including staging and loading.
- Ensuring all **safety** procedures are followed during material handling operations.
- Performing routine checks on warehouse equipment.
- Assisting with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
This role requires regular **Lifting** of materials up to 60 lbs. Proficiency with forklift operation is highly desirable. You will be provided with all necessary **PPE**.
