Join our team in Portland, Oregon, as a skilled Forklift Operator! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, transporting goods to and from designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. Maintaining a safe work environment is our top priority, and all operators must strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will operate various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment, requiring a keen sense of spatial awareness and precision. This role is essential to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. We are committed to providing a secure and efficient workplace for all employees. Responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
- Transporting materials to and from production or storage areas.
- Conducting daily inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Following all safety guidelines and operating procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Supporting warehouse staff with other tasks as needed.
