About
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in the heart of New York City, New York. As a Picker/Packer, you will be an integral part of our efficient warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or electronic scanning devices.
- Packing a variety of products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Verifying order accuracy before packing to minimize errors and returns.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operations and safety.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operating manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. You must be able to perform tasks that involve significant manual dexterity and standing for extended periods. Physical requirements include the ability to perform repetitive tasks and moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly. We provide all necessary PPE , including gloves and safety glasses, and conduct regular training on warehouse Safety best practices.
