This role is vital for ensuring the efficient movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for handling a variety of materials, from receiving to staging for distribution. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort, organize, and store materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Fulfill orders by picking and preparing items for shipment.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required).
- Conduct physical inventory counts and assist with inventory management systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including aisles and storage areas.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as mandated for the role.
- Strictly follow all Safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a secure workplace.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Provide support to other departments as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Understand the importance of timely and accurate logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or material handling is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting of heavy objects.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
