About
Join our innovative team as a Picker/Packer in San Jose, California! This is an essential role in our fulfillment center, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, picking them accurately, and packaging them with care. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Package orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and logistics operations.
- Willingness to follow instructions and company procedures.
- Must wear appropriate PPE as required.
