Join our growing team as an Order Picker in Provo, Utah. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers receive their products quickly and accurately. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving items from our warehouse shelves based on customer orders. You will utilize various picking methods, potentially including RF scanners and pick lists, to ensure precision and speed. Verifying the accuracy of picked items and quantities is a crucial aspect of this job to maintain our high standards of service. Once items are picked, you will prepare them for the next stage of the logistics process, which might involve staging for packers or boxing them for shipment. Safety is our top priority. You will receive comprehensive training on our safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. We expect all team members to be vigilant about maintaining a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to customer order specifications.
- Use RF scanners and pick sheets to locate and retrieve items.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Participate in inventory control activities like cycle counting.
- Operate basic material handling equipment as trained.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds frequently.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to following safety procedures.
