About
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in Omaha, Nebraska. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders to ensure timely and correct shipments. Your primary focus will be on maintaining inventory accuracy and contributing to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to fulfilling orders. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and use required PPE .
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Must be able to handle Lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
