Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes to ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
- Liaise with transportation providers and other stakeholders in the logistics chain.
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and generate operational reports.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or conflicts promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Coordinator or similar supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to manage teams and delegate tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to ensuring the correct use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
