We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our bustling logistics facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount, and we expect all operators to strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires experience with various types of forklifts and a commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or Safety issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all Safety regulations.
- Follow all operational procedures and instructions for efficient warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely order processing.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while operating equipment and performing warehouse duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to all PPE requirements.
