In this key role, you will navigate our warehouse to locate and retrieve specified products, ensuring accuracy against order details. Your responsibilities will extend to preparing items for packing and shipping, contributing directly to our customer satisfaction goals. This fast-paced position requires excellent attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You’ll be an essential part of our supply chain, ensuring seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Use scanning technology to track picked items and update inventory systems.
- Verify product details to ensure order accuracy and quality.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or potential safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with stock replenishment and put-away tasks as needed.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and checks.
- Perform duties requiring regular Lifting of packages, up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability for moderate Lifting of items.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to work.
