We are looking for experienced and certified Forklift Operators to join our growing logistics team in sunny Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the movement of goods within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload materials, transporting inventory to and from storage areas, and ensuring the efficient flow of products throughout the facility. Safety is paramount in this position, and adherence to all operational and safety guidelines is expected. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, counterbalance, electric pallet jacks) to move, stack, and stage inventory.
- Load and unload trucks and containers accurately and safely.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating locations.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in team efforts to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Must be capable of Lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid forklift certification and at least 1-2 years of verifiable forklift operating experience.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow directions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and physical exertion.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Safety and teamwork in a fast-paced logistics environment.
