Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve pallets of goods in high-bay racking systems.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counting procedures.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall logistics flow.
- Work closely with warehouse supervisors and other team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Practice safe lifting techniques and operate equipment responsibly to prevent accidents and damage.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid certification for reach truck operation is required.
- Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
- Understanding of inventory control principles and logistics operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
