This role is fundamental to our daily operations, encompassing a wide range of warehouse activities. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping processes, ensuring the efficient movement of goods. A commitment to **safety** and a proactive approach are key. This position requires individuals who are comfortable with physical tasks, including significant **Lifting**, and who can work effectively in a fast-paced **logistics** environment. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to **PPE** requirements, and collaborating with colleagues are crucial aspects of this job.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and accurately log incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize warehouse storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment with speed and accuracy.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting.
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment.
- Strictly adhere to all **safety** regulations and consistently use required **PPE**.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for **logistics** efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may include repetitive **Lifting**.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including standing, walking, and **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and **logistics**.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to upholding high **safety** standards and utilizing **PPE**.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
