Become an integral part of our efficient fulfillment center in Chicago, Illinois, as a Fulfillment Associate. We are seeking motivated individuals to play a key role in preparing and dispatching customer orders accurately and on time. This position is central to our Logistics operations, ensuring that products reach our customers in perfect condition and within the promised delivery windows. You will be involved in various aspects of the order fulfillment process, from picking and packing to quality control and shipping preparation. Your dedication to detail and commitment to Safety will be paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Perform quality checks on all items before packing to verify accuracy and condition.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and any necessary handling instructions.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, for material movement.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment targets and ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow all company procedures and protocols to ensure efficient Logistics and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and engage in repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capacity for Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse management systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
