About
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment. Your primary goal will be to ensure efficient and accurate movement of goods, contributing to the overall smooth operation of our distribution center. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Pick and put away inventory accurately using the reach truck.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the reach truck to ensure it is in good working order.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as order picking and packing when not operating the reach truck.
- Adhere to established picking and put-away procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to a supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift/reach truck operator certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial.
