We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a versatile role where you will be involved in various warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. Responsibilities may include receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and general warehouse maintenance. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to safety are essential. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently. Regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds is a core requirement of this position, so physical stamina is necessary. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse clean and safe.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
