We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing a variety of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials accurately.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including significant Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to Safety and following all guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
