We are seeking experienced Warehouse Workers for our high-volume logistics center located in New York City, New York. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in all facets of material handling, from initial receipt to final shipment preparation. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Process and pick customer orders utilizing advanced scanning technology and established logistics procedures.
- Package orders with care, selecting appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to strict Safety standards and protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all merchandise.
- Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational targets.
- Consistently use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure maximum Safety.
- Manage the physical demands of the role, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds, following ergonomic guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center role.
- Proven proficiency in operating material handling equipment, with current certifications preferred.
- Solid understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and logistics workflows.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting for extended periods.
- Exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to upholding a safe and productive work environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
