A leading housing developer is seeking a Land Development Manager to identify, evaluate, and unlock strategic land acquisition opportunities, supporting growth and early-stage development projects.

This role reports to the Head of Land Development and will be based in the head offices in Dublin City Centre.
Responsibilities Proactively source, assess, and appraise new land opportunities, including off-market and strategic sites.
Build and maintain relationships with landowners, agents, promoters, and local authorities.
Lead negotiations and secure land agreements, options, and contracts with legal and finance support.
Coordinate technical, planning, environmental, and legal due diligence.
Identify and mitigate risks related to zoning, planning, ecology, and infrastructure.
Prepare investment cases, opportunity briefs, and recommendation reports.
Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities, statutory bodies, and communities.
Work with internal teams to ensure smooth handover from acquisition to development.
Track pipeline progress, risks, and opportunities, supporting strategic planning.
Requirements 5+ years experience in land acquisition, development, or real estate investment.
Strong knowledge of planning, zoning, and development processes in Ireland.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially astute with experience preparing investment cases and managing budgets.
Analytical mindset and ability to assess risks and opportunities.
Degree in property, planning, real estate, or a related field preferred.
Salary & Benefits €95,000 €105,000 per annum, depending on experience.
