Warehouse / Yard Materials Handler

Job Description

Position Summary

The Warehouse/Yard Materials Handler is responsible for managing materials, equipment, and yard organization to ensure efficient support of telecommunications construction projects. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and experienced in operating a telehandler.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a telehandler to move and stage materials

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and equipment

• Track, manage, and maintain accurate inventory records

• Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse environment

• Distribute materials and equipment to field crews as needed

• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely material availability

• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven experience operating a telehandler

• Strong organizational and inventory management skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused mindset

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred:

• Construction and/or telecommunications industry experience

• Experience with material tracking systems
