We’re currently partnering with a national leader in environmental services in Lake Panasoffkee, FL. This site supports landfill and wastewater treatment operations, focusing on the safe handling and movement of non-hazardous waste and water throughout the facility. They are seeking a Material Handler to support daily onsite operations and wastewater management activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work safely at all times while handling waste materials in a landfill and wastewater treatment environment, following all company policies, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations
• Operate sit-down forklifts and other equipment to move drums, totes, and materials throughout the facility
• Transport wastewater and materials onsite using non-CDL tanker trucks between designated areas for processing, storage, or treatment
• Assist with loading and unloading materials related to wastewater treatment operations and landfill activities
• Direct and stage materials in appropriate areas based on waste type, treatment process, and operational flow
• Inspect containers, tanks, and materials to ensure proper labeling and compliance with DOT and environmental requirements
• Track and document movement of materials and wastewater throughout the facility
• Assist with transferring wastewater and other materials into storage tanks, treatment systems, or designated containment areas
• Support cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of containers, tanks, and equipment used in wastewater and waste handling processes
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to support workflow, safety, and productivity

Who We’re Looking For

• Must have hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts
• Shipping and receiving or material handling experience required
• Previous yard dog experience is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and lift throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a loud industrial facility
• Steel toe boots required

What You Can Expect

• $20.00 - $24.00/hr
• Monday - Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Weekends as required depending on operational demands
