Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate would need to reside in the vicinity of the Jackson, SC. We are looking for a physically fit person with a good driving record/valid driver's license, warehouse experience, has attention to detail, and good intellect. This person would also need to be able to work independently and be willing to train in the operation of a forklift. The candidate must be a United States citizen and be able to pass a Federal background check.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and supplier labels
- Accurately count parts, identify damages, and report discrepancies
- Repack items securely to prevent damage during transit
- Match and include all required paperwork (customer labels, inspection stickers, packing slips) with each shipment
- Prepare outgoing orders using tape guns, hand strappers, shrink wrap, and basic hand tools
- Load and unload LTL, UPS, FedEx, and other carrier trucks safely
- Inspect pallets and determine proper size and condition for shipment
- Operate forklift equipment and complete daily maintenance checks
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse, break areas, and restrooms
- Assist with general facility upkeep such as cleaning, painting, and organizing during downtime
- Drive company truck to deliver products to local and regional customers, ensuring:
- Safe vehicle operation and compliance with traffic laws
- Accurate delivery documentation and customer sign-offs
- Professional interaction with customers at delivery sites
- Daily vehicle inspections and reporting of any issues
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 months – 1 year experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse environment
- 6 months – 1 year forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Experience using hand strappers, shrink wrappers, tape guns, razor knives, and simple hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and legible handwriting for labeling boxes and pallets
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of proper loading/unloading techniques for various truck types
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required for delivery duties)

- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving of materials
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse
