Warehouse Operations Associate – Distribution

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operations Associate to support daily activities within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role focuses on inventory handling, order preparation, and material movement to ensure products are processed and shipped accurately and efficiently.

Shift is a 6:00am-2:00pm

The Role

• Supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order preparation, and shipping.
• Uses RF (Radio Frequency) scanning equipment to track inventory movement and update warehouse management systems.
• Moves cases, cartons, and packaged goods between work areas, storage locations, and shipping zones.
• Loads and unloads incoming and outgoing shipments manually or with non-powered equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Assists with order picking, sorting, staging, and palletizing materials for distribution.
• Builds pallets and prepares outbound shipments for transportation.
• Assembles shipping containers and prepares materials for transport as required.
• Maintains organized work areas and ensures products are stored safely and accurately.
• Operates warehouse support equipment such as freight elevators and basic packaging equipment.
• Assists with inventory counts and general warehouse housekeeping.
• Performs other operational duties as assigned to support workflow demands.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months – 1 year of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred (Manhattan WMS a plus).
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) scanners preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-based warehouse environment.
