The Shift Leader (SL) requires knowledge of all operations in the restaurant, has supervisory responsibilities, and is expected to give direction. The SL should be capable of fully running a shift. It is important that they lead by example and maintain open communication with all other members of the restaurant's team, particularly the managers.
