Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Description

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming shipments and verifying the accuracy of received products. Candidate will manage outgoing shipments and customer order fulfillment.

Hours would be Mon-Fri from 9am to 5 pm.

**Duties:**

- Receive incoming shipments and compare items to packing lists

- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies

- Record and report any issues or shortages to the appropriate parties

- Organize and store received items in designated areas

- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks to move materials

- Maintain accurate records of received goods in the warehouse management system

- Pack and ship outgoing wholesale and customer direct orders

**Requirements:**

- Familiarity with order picking, stock handling, and inventory control procedures a plus

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on feet

- Good computer skills including accurate typing and data entry
