Position Overview:

The Warehouse Generalist is a full-time role based in our San Leandro warehouse. This position is responsible for maintaining organization bread trays, displays, cleanliness, and overall facility upkeep. The role works closely and collaboratively with the Warehouse Coordinator and management team to support daily warehouse operations.


Schedule: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Days Off: Wednesday and Sunday


Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine inspections of the warehouse to ensure safe and efficient operations.

· Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including floors, storage areas, high-touch surfaces, restrooms, and kitchen areas.

· Conduct display building and complete stale audits

· Stacking Trays

· Load empty Trays Stacks onto Trucks

· Separate displays building from stale audit

· Place checking codes under stale audits and report any variance in stale quantities to the supervisor.

· Discard stale items in the compactor

· Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock all necessary supplies—this is an essential responsibility.

· Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum warehouse floors.

· Follow assigned work schedules and route cards; report any barriers or issues encountered.

· Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions using appropriate solutions and tools.

· Gather and dispose of trash, recyclables, and cardboard.

· Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment as needed.

· Use chemical cleaners and power equipment in accordance with proper safety procedures to prevent damage to surfaces and fixtures.

· Notify management of any repairs or additions needed to building systems.

· Maintain effective communication and working relationships with warehouse coordinators and supervisors.

· Adhere to all company safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.

· Perform any additional duties as assigned.
