Position Title: ReStore Associate
Department: ReStore
Reports To: ReStore Manager
Designation: Full time, Non-exempt, Hourly
Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule as directed by Restore Management; Saturdays and some holidays required
Rate: Starting at $19/hour

Position Overview:
The Restore Associate supports all aspects of daily ReStore operations, with a primary focus on customer service and volunteer coordination. This role also assists with donor relations and donation processing. Candidates should be willing to learn to operate the ReStore donation truck to serve as a backup when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and responding to donor and customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner
Support daily store operations including opening and closing as needed
Assist with scheduling of donation pickups
Serve as a backup donation driver as needed, executing pick-ups of donated items, ensuring items are stored securely for transport
Assist ReStore volunteer cashiers and serve as backup when necessary
Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to ReStore volunteers while ensuring engagement and safety
Receive and unload donations; both from donors on-site and from the donation truck
Perform other duties and projects as directed by ReStore Management
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provide guidance and supervision to ReStore volunteers
Qualifications:
Present a positive and neat image to donors, customers and volunteers
Ability to perform physically active work, including frequent movement and prolonged time on your feet
Comfortable navigating and utilizing computer systems
Willingness to learn new skills, including operating a box truck (CDL not required)
Maintain driver’s licenses and certifications required to perform job
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Ability to delegate tasks to individuals and small groups
Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis with assistance
