Event Delivery & Set‐Up Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, energetic Event Delivery & Set‐Up Technician to join our team! This role is hands‐on and customer‐facing — you’ll deliver, set up, and break down event rental equipment for parties, corporate events, weddings, and more. If you enjoy working in a fast‐paced environment, being on the move, and creating great experiences for customers, this is the job for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver rental items to event locations (tables, chairs, décor, tents, lounge items, etc.)
• Professionally set up and break down event equipment according to client instructions
• Load and unload equipment from delivery vehicles
• Ensure all equipment is clean, presentable, and event‐ready
• Communicate clearly and courteously with customers on-site
• Perform basic equipment inspections and minor repairs when needed
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
• Uphold company safety standards during all deliveries and installations
• Work as part of a crew for large setups or independently for smaller orders
• Assist with warehouse organization when not on delivery routes

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work weekends, early mornings, and peak‐season overtime
• Experience in event setup, moving, construction, or delivery preferred (not required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to problem‐solve on-site and adapt to changing conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and teamwork‐oriented

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, physical, and hands‐on
• Indoor/outdoor settings, depending on event location
• Work in various weather conditions
• Interaction with clients, event planners, and venue staff
