Assistant Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

The Assistant Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order picking, and material handling. This role requires experience working in a warehouse environment, operating a tow motor (forklift), and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and products
  • Perform accurate order picking, packing, and staging for shipment
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and regular audits
  • Operate a tow motor (forklift) and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks in accordance with safety procedures
  • Ensure warehouse areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Assist with inventory tracking using warehouse management systems or manual logs
  • Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to warehouse management
  • Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior warehouse experience required
  • Proven experience with inventory control, order picking, and stocking
  • Certified or experienced tow motor (forklift) operator training
  • Ability to read pick tickets, packing slips, and inventory documents
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
