Position Overview:

We’re currently seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure. Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images for physicians.
• Verify patient identity and review medical histories prior to procedures.
• Position patients and adjust imaging parameters for optimal results.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, including magnetic field precautions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to ensure quality care.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions.
• Follow all HIPAA, radiation safety, and infection control protocols.

Requirements: ARRT (R) (MR) certification required. Active state Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable). BLS certification (American Heart Association). Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred (hospital or outpatient setting). Strong communication and patient care skills. Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
