Material Handler – Manufacturing Team | Suffolk, VA
Pay:  $16.00/hour
Shifts:  7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Schedule)

Are you someone who enjoys staying active and keeping operations moving? The Lee Group is hiring Material Handlers  for a busy manufacturing facility in Suffolk, VA . This role is perfect for dependable individuals who take pride in safe material handling, maintaining organized work areas, and supporting production teams.

As a Material Handler , you’ll play an important part in daily production by transporting materials, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting equipment operators to keep workflow running efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Move raw materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Support production teams by ensuring materials are available where and when they are needed
• Maintain a clean and organized pit and sanitation area
• Perform sanitation tasks on equipment, work surfaces, and tools to maintain safety and quality standards
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks while verifying inventory counts
• Label, stage, and store materials according to established inventory procedures
• Dispose of waste materials properly while following company safety guidelines
• Assist machine operators with basic tasks during the production process as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments is helpful
• 1–3 years of experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment preferred
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting 50–70  lbs when needed
• Strong attention to safety procedures and workplace cleanliness
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Team-oriented mindset with dependable attendance
