Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

Job Description

This position is responsible for the daily flow of wholesale product coming into and going out of the warehouse. This includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing, retrieving and maintaining product stock in the warehouse.

Candidates must:

• Be able to use basic hand tools (i.e.; hammer, saw, etc.)
• Regularly lift and/or move objects in excess of 50 pounds
• Work independently and as a team
• Use basic math skills (ex.: addition, subtraction, understand pounds, tons, square feet)
• Be dependable, reliable, self-motivated, and detail oriented with strong initiative and willingness to help out where needed
• Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in order to multi-task in a busy environment
• Have previous warehouse experience; inventory and tile/stone experience a plus
• Forklift experience/certification a plus·

Computer knowledge including Excel spreadsheets helpful

Excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills required

Work hours are Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, shifts include 7am to 3:30pm and 8:30am to 5pm.
