Order Puller - Night Shift

Job Description

We are hiring an Order Puller in Ontario, CA for a full-time, night-shift schedule (Monday–Friday) . This role is responsible for safely handling, picking, staging, and moving heavy steel materials to support production, fabrication, and customer orders. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (not warehouse—no exceptions) and must be able to read a tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, and prepare steel materials based on work orders and production schedules.
• Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move sheet, plate, bar, tube, and coil steel.
• Inspect, measure, and verify steel dimensions (must be able to read a tape measure).
• Band, bundle, and securely prepare steel materials for shipping or storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory using scanners, logs, or ERP systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (no warehouse backgrounds).
• Ability to read a tape measure with accuracy—no exceptions .
• Experience operating forklifts; certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
