Inventory Clerk

Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk  to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will ensure stock levels are accurate, discrepancies are investigated promptly, and inventory data is maintained correctly.

This role is critical to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and supporting purchasing, production, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Enter inventory adjustments into the system as needed
• Track incoming and outgoing materials
• Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock levels
• Generate inventory reports as needed
• Maintain organized documentation of inventory transactions
• Assist with stock transfers between locations (if applicable)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of inventory, warehouse, or stock control experience preferred
• Experience using ERP systems is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual: Ability to speak and understand both English and Spanish required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cycle counting procedures
• Understanding of inventory valuation methods (FIFO, average cost, etc.)
• Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Prior experience using ERP or inventory management software
