Material Handler / Warehouse Associate – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:45 PM – 1:15 AM
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Training: Must be available to train on 1st shift prior to transitioning to regular 2nd-shift schedule
Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Position Overview

The Material Handler supports daily warehouse operations by loading, unloading, transporting, and moving materials throughout the facility. This role requires operating powered industrial vehicles, performing manual material handling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, transport, and move materials throughout the facility
• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), including tugger and forklift , along assigned warehouse routes
• Manually move materials to and from pallets, bins, boxes, and shelving
• Convey materials from storage or work areas to designated locations
• Assemble crates and containers for products as required
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark cases, bales, or containers as needed
• Clean work areas, machinery, and equipment
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations at all times

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift 35–40 pounds
• Perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift
