Job Description

A Warehouse General Laborer

performs essential, physically demanding tasks to ensure efficient daily operations, including loading/unloading freight, picking and packing orders, and organizing stock. They maintain inventory accuracy, operate equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts, and keep the facility clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving: Unload incoming trailers, inspect inventory for damage, and load outgoing trucks.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and wrap items for shipment in accordance with order forms.
• Inventory Management: Move materials to storage, restock shelves, and assist with inventory counts.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas, aisles, and workstations clean, tidy, and safe.
• Equipment Operation: Use scanners, pallet jacks, and, if certified, forklifts to move goods.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive manual labor.
• Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions. Microsoft Excel experience
• Experience: Previous warehouse experience is often preferred, though many positions are entry-level.
• Safety Mindset: Compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Reliability: Strong attendance and punctuality are required.
