What You’ll Be Doing

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments and report any discrepancies

• Use pallet jacks or hand trucks to stage and move product (forklift certification a plus!)

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders—every order should feel like a gift

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

• Help with seasonal inventory, restocks, and product transitions

• Process customer returns accurately and efficiently

• Operate warehouse tools and systems (we’ll train you!)

• Work collaboratively with your teammates to meet daily goals

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with the broader Modern Prairie team

Preferred Experience & Qualities

• Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or retail setting (preferred but not required)

• Strong attention to detail—if you love doing things right , you’ll do great here

• Comfortable using inventory systems or open to learning

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the schedule agreed upon

• Able to lift up to 40–50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

• A team player who believes in kindness, accountability, and being helpful

• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to get certified)

Work Environment

• This job is in an indoor warehouse setting

• You'll use safety equipment like gloves and protective shoes

• Expect to move around frequently and work with a variety of materials

• The environment can include varying temps, noise, and dust depending on the season
