Tool Crib Attendant

Job Description

Master Metal Engineering is hiring for a Gage/Tool Crib Attendant position. Individuals in this position must be able to adequately and competently perform the following tasks:

· Issue gauge tools, machine tooling and equipment to machinists maintaining accurate records of tooling and equipment issued and returned.

· Maintain perpetual inventory and perform periodic cycle counts of gauges and equipment.

· Inspect, measure and re-calibrate gauge tools and equipment.

· Repair, service and lubricate gauge tools.

· Purchase replacement gauge tools for damaged, worn out or with abnormal defects.

· Knowledge of computerized Gauge Tracking system preferred.

To perform this job successfully, a qualified individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to calibrate gauges along with a basic understanding of machining is preferred. Following written instructions and an attention to detail is a requirement.

A High school diploma or GED required. One to three months related experience and/or training is preferred. Basic computer skills or prior exposure to an ERP system recommended.

Master Metal Engineering provides a variety of industrial applications to the medical and aerospace industries with precision machined components, assemblies and engineering support services. We specialize in close tolerance machining of difficult materials with cosmetic finishes.
