JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Visibly and substantially support the client Safety Culture through proactive engagement and by making safety a part of every decision.
Integrate safe design concepts in all products and projects.
Develop and maintain knowledge and experience in recent CAD technologies and practices.
Maintain technical drawing and bill of material library
Design panels and systems that are easy to maintain and safe to operate from ergonomic stand point.
Assist in the design, specification, installation, and integration of chemical and gas manufacturing systems.
Under the direction of the engineering design team, produce technical drawings and bills of material for detailed design packages for mechanical and electrical processes.
Participate in Design Review, Process Hazard Analysis and EMOC meetings as needed.
Support continuous improvement within the design group - e.g. development of standards, engineering tools, etc.

Design with an emphasis to industrial gas applications
Problem solving skills
The ability to manage multiple assignments
Good communications skills
Strong hands-on skills, ability to trouble shoot applications equipment
Knowledge of design tools including Solidworks, ACAD, for mechanical and electrical design
Knowledge of simulation tools using Solidworks Simulation
Ability to do basic engineering calculations and use tools
A working knowledge of international codes/directives
Strong organisational skills
Required qualifications/experience
Bachelors or technical degree (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering prefered)
Strong communications skills
Report or techincal writing skills
Min. 2 years experience in project engineering or design preferably related to industrial gas applications or machinery
SolidWorks experience (CSWP preferred)
