If you’re an experienced Works Supervisor with a background in large multi-million-pound projects, we have an incredible opportunity for you to join our team. You’ll be working on a complex and technically challenging project valued at over £200 million , all under the NEC form of contract.

Your Role: Planning ManagerWe are on the lookout for a highly skilled Planning Manager to lead the planning and project controls function for this landmark project worth over £1 billion . Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our planning aligns with key project decisions and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning function across one of the project's primary areas.
- Identify planning strategies, methods, and logistics required throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create detailed programmes with robust breakdown structures and engaging visuals.
- Define work with precision and ensure a clear logical flow.
- Develop phasing diagrams, logistics plans, and resource/plant histograms.
- Establish certainty in progress to shape future actions.
- Enhance predictability with robust project controls.
- Utilize data to support decision-making and mitigate project risks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project teams, and supply chain partners.
- Consider commercial and contractual implications in planning and monitoring.
- Foster collaboration across project teams.
- Experience managing planning on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of the NEC form of contract.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid grasp of construction methods and planning from first principles.
- Proficient in Powerproject planning software.
- Experience in the industrial sector is highly advantageous.
- Ability to lead and mentor planning team members.
- Good understanding of 4D planning and digital technologies.
- Experience with Construction Management (CM) projects.
- A passion for innovation and driving planning initiatives.
- Proven experience in pre-contract planning.
