**DESCRIPTION:**
Join our Finance team where you''ll perform essential accounting functions that help enable our customers to make positive impacts in healthcare and scientific advancement. As an Accounting Assistant II, you''ll prepare and process financial transactions, handle billing operations, and support month-end activities with precision and accuracy. Working collaboratively across departments, you''ll manage invoice processing, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with established procedures. This role offers opportunities for professional growth while contributing to critical financial operations that support our mission of advancing science and improving healthcare outcomes.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
u2022 1 year of relevant accounting/finance experience
u2022 Required Education: Secondary Diploma or Equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
u2022 Technical certification may be required for some positions
u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
u2022 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures
u2022 Detail-oriented with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
u2022 Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks
u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
u2022 Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
u2022 Experience with financial management systems and ERP software preferred
u2022 Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
u2022 Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all work products
u2022 Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders
u2022 Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high performance standards
u2022 May require occasional travel based on business needs
**Compensation**
The salary range estimated for this position based in Ontario is $36,400.00u2013$54,550.00.
